At Mentice, we develop simulation solutions that help healthcare professionals train for complex medical procedures. Our products are used globally to support better clinical decisions, improved efficiency, and ultimately better patient outcomes.
Quality is a fundamental part of how we work — not only in our products, but in our processes, collaboration, and everyday decisions. We are now looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who wants to contribute to meaningful healthcare technology in a structured and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will plan, execute, and continuously improve testing activities across both software and hardware. You will work with products and projects in different phases — from development to production and real-world clinical use.
- The role combines hands-on testing with responsibility for parts of the Quality Management System (QMS), and close collaboration with development teams, product management, and project managers. You will also contribute to strengthening Mentice’s quality culture and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Testing and quality assurance
- Define and implement HW and SW test strategies, methods, and guidelines for products and projects
- Plan, prioritize, execute, and document test activities to ensure the appropriate quality level across the Mentice product portfolio
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Handle deviations related to processes, products, and systems
- Plan, perform, and complete internal audits independently
- Take ownership of assigned parts of the QMS and related processes
Collaboration and support
- Work closely with QA colleagues, software and hardware developers, product managers, and support teams
- Support project managers with test activities and execution of QA gates
- Act as a role model for a pragmatic and responsible quality mindset within the organization
What You Bring
- Experience in Quality Assurance and testing within software and hardware product development, preferably but not necessarily from the MedTech industry
- A structured and organised way of working, even in agile and evolving environments
- A collaborative mindset and a natural ability to work across functions
- Attention to detail combined with a pragmatic, analytical, and customer-oriented approach
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s (minimum) or Master’s (preferred) degree in Electrical, Computer, or Medical Engineering, or equivalent
Why Mentice?
You’ll join a global, purpose-driven company where your work directly contributes to better-trained clinicians and improved patient outcomes.
We offer a collaborative, international environment with the opportunity to influence both products and ways of working.
