ZEISS Medical Technology is a major supplier of advanced systems to drive the progress, efficiency and access to healthcare technology supporting doctors to improve their patients’ quality of life.

 

We are looking to hire a positive, proactive IT Connectivity Manager, hereafter CM, to oversee our Smart services projects and to ensure projects are initiated and completed on time. We aim for our eligible systems to be connected via ZEISS remote service to ensure faster response time to customers and support future value adding services to our customers. The main systems to be connected can be found at neuro and ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) departments and the CM will establish contact to our customers and lead the connectivity projects. The CM will drive and coordinate the utilization of resources across divisions within Medical Systems of the project to reach set targets. The CM will ensure fulfillment of the project requirements and you will document instructions for end-users and assist with the testing of the final solution. You will communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project and close it efficiently as well as follow up with our customers.

The CM reports to the Head of Sales Microsurgery and cooperates closely with colleagues within both sales and service.

To be successful in this role you should deliver an extensively recorded, tested, intact, and operative solution within delivery time frames. Ideal candidates will be analytical and have a positive and a “can do” attitude. Excellent communication skills in one or more Nordic languages and English, both written and oral.  It is an advantage if you have experience from hospital IT systems and departments.

Your main responsibilities:

  • To oversee multiple connectivity projects within Medical Systems
  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, external parties, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of assigned project components.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.

 

Your knowledge, skills, and experiences:

  • Strong IT background and experience of complex networks, preferably within healthcare or other sensitiv sectors.
  • Outstanding project managements skills, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Nordic countries, but also to attend meetings and training courses across the wider European region when required.
  • Highly motivated and organized self-starter who can act independently when required
  • Team player and able to work as part of a remote team using modern communication technologies
