What will be your role at bioMerieux?

Do you want to support the scientific medical strategy of specific diagnostic solutions, providing up to date medical information to critical care and emergency department physicians?

  • Are you passionate about scientific communication and medical education to the healthcare community and engaging in scientific exchange and managing key stakeholders (KOLs)? If this sounds like you then you could be our next Medical Scientific Liaison, accountable of our syndromic solutions and blood culture/sepsis within Nordics Countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway).
  • Reporting to the VP of Benelux Nordics, you will work closely with our commercial team to provide operational and medical support as well as identify, recruit, leverage and maintain relationships with critical and acute care Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Your goal will be to develop the scientific image of bioMerieux as a leader in the diagnosis of infectious diseases. You will develop creative and innovative tactics for addressing barriers to clinical adoption within targeted hospitals and assist with management of clinical trials.
  • You will work closely with your colleague based in Brussels, and you will ideally be based in Gothenburg.

 

About you

  • You will have infectious diseases knowledge whether as an intensive care emergency doctor, nurse or clinical microbiologist or have a pharmacy degree with professional experience in an IVD industry.
  • Previous MSL experience is strongly desirable but not essential.
  • A PhD or Pharmacy degree is also desirable.
  • You must possess strong communication skills and presentation skills, along with extensive interpersonal skills to work in cross functional teams and be business and customer orientated.
  • This is a field-based role travelling to meet customers and internal teams.
