Product Manager – Orthopedics / Spine

Join our team as a Product Manager in the field of orthopedics, with a primary focus on spine, where you will take charge of a dynamic product portfolio. Your role will involve planning and optimizing the portfolio while setting and following up on long-term strategies. The position involves working in a hospital environment, attending live patient cases, and ensuring product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Management: Plan, optimize, and set long-term strategies for the product portfolio while collaborating with sales organizations to implement market strategies and commercial activities focusing on organic growth.
  • Supplier and Regulatory Management: Serve as the main contact for suppliers, managing inquiries about product range and pricing, and working with the QA/RA team to ensure regulatory compliance, technical product documentation, and registration according to the quality management system.
  • Tender and Market Intelligence: Play a crucial role in public procurement, utilizing market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and manage inventory effectively, as the majority of Mediplast’s sales come through tenders.
  • Cross-functional and Customer Engagement: Engage in cross-functional collaboration to drive commercial focus and innovation, together with sales educate customers on orthopedic products through training and demonstrations and achieve sales targets by developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Business and Market Analysis: Analyze market data to optimize territory plans and support decision-making, contributing to the overall commercial success.
  • Industry Representation and Networking: Represent the company at industry fairs and events to actively promote products and build professional relationships.

 

About You

You have previous experience as a Product Specialist or Product Manager in the industry, with a self-driven approach and full responsibility for your product portfolio. You are proactive, result-oriented, and can drive business forward. A background in orthopedic surgery or related fields is highly valued. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Other Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Swedish or Danish (written and spoken)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel as required for the role
  • Experience in orthopedic anatomy, with particular emphasis on spine
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the patient care team
