Successful in the job

As Transducer Developer, you will be based in Gothenburg and part of the Bone Anchored R&D organization – consisting of three (3) development sites; Smørum in Denmark, Gothenburg in Sweden and Vallauris on the French Rivera.

Your focus will be to develop transducers in development projects, but we also see this role to play an important function in work with Intellectual property, technology planning and pre-studies. You will work close with our other research functions within Demant as well as our manufacturing site in Poland and in Nice.

You enjoy working with equal portions of physics, electronics and mechanics, likely you have a background as a HW-engineer with a broad technical interest.

For you to be successful in this job, we are looking on following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working in development projects.
  • Professional experience from analog electronics and circuit development, especially low power consumption designs.
  • Must be comfortable with hands-on laboratory work
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, with exposure to systems, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Strong in technical documentation
  • Comfortable in conducting testing and verification on electro-mechanical systems with a variety of sensors.
  • Experience from designing transducers/actuators or other Multiphysics designs is meriting.
  • Working with audio applications is meriting.
  • Preferably experience working in a medical device company or other regulated industry
  • Fluent in English (spoken/written)
  • Likely a M.Sc. degree in physics, electronics.
