In the Nordics, we are currently looking for a Nordic Product Manager, who will be responsible for one of our products within neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). You will join a company where you can work very independently and in an entrepreneurial mindset.
Your responsibilities include but is not limited to;
-To provide and get adequate information about the product and marketing development to/from the Nordic Operation Manager .
-To gather input, to develop and communicate promotional strategies and tactics and to monitor performances against, plan and stipulate training needs.
-Discuss with the Medical Department suggestions on clinical trials, get medical approval on marketing material and at the same time update them on related projects with joint interest.
-Discuss and act on routines for cost control.
-Follow up monthly routines for logistics control.
-Ensure that good contacts are kept with the opinion leaders and other customers, which means:
-Accomplish a good working relationship with Key Opinion Leaders.
-Secure a good relationship through field work ie co-travel
-Keep working contact with medical committees and other institutions
-Develop, implement and follow up marketing strategies and tactics with assistance of Market Research companies, Advertising agencies and PR agencies.
Responsible for the establishment of the sales budget, expense budget as well as profit protection of the products. This should happen in conjunction with the sales organisation, medical department and the finance department.
Establish marketing strategies and tactics for the product. This should be done in accordance with the worked out marketing plans:
Long-term plans and give input to production plans.
Analyse the commercial and medical development within the product area.
Position the product according to given goals.
Analyse the competitors actions
Analyse the targeted groups actions.
Implement marketing plan and take action accordingly.
Control implementation, follow-up and impact of strategic decisions closely
Responsible for campaigns and campaign material which means:
Establish strategic campaigns in conjunction with the selling organisation.
Be responsible for the development of campaign material (ie books, brochures and mailings).
Ensure that the material follows the ‘Rules for the marketing of medicine’.
To work in promotional cycles and provide new updated materials.
Develop medical education programmes jointly with the Medical department.
4. Product responsibility
Ensure that the product knowledge is kept on a high level:
Product train the sales force.
Look after and ensure that there is adequate literature and documentation.
Participate in national and international meetings.
Keep in contact with Euroasian product manager.
Ensure (together with sales manager) the sales force is detailing according to the strategic plan.
5. Marketing Intelligence
Constantly maintain knowledge over market developments and competitors.
6. Product Development
Ensure that a good product development is obtained. This involves:
Put forward suggestions in changes of packaging.
Discuss new ways of administering.
Suggest new clinical trials.

Organisation and management of congress travel for groups of customers
A successful candidate is able to work independently with little supervision, and thrives in a flat organisation. You have a can-do attitude and are keen to know the customers needs. Previously, you have 5+ years experience as Product Manager, preferably on a Nordic level.
