The Medical Manager Nordics is responsible for the optimization of access to quality patient care in the treatment of opioid dependence treatment.  This position is responsible for identifying and developing key opinion leaders (KOLs) providing appropriate scientific information, medical education,  conducting interventions such as audits and medical reviews, and disseminating best practice guidance to prescribers and other healthcare providers in the field.

The Medical Manager will work closely with national and local professional associations and informal groups to ensure a high standard of accurate education through meetings, seminars and written communication with a view to ensuring best practice and appropriate utilization of company products.   Driving forward the Nordic opioid painkiller dependence strategy will be a core project to champion.

Internally the Medical Manager will work closely with company staff, in collaboration with the Medical Affairs Manager – Northern Europe to train and educate field teams, as well as to ensure compliance with required regulatory processes such as code of conduct, copy clearance, certification of sales representatives, study management, responding to medical information queries and pharmacovigilance.

As a successful candidate you have;

  • Medical Degree and /or relevant PhD in medical sciences, preferably in the addiction field
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience working in external-facing medical affairs/medical advisor/MSL role within drug dependence or allied fields (CNS, Psychiatry, Infectious diseases)
  • Experience in working with the public health structures in the Nordics
