Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISRG) is the global leader in robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery (MIS). The company’s da Vinci Surgical System was the first robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgical system to be cleared by the FDA for general laparoscopic surgery.

Intuitive Surgical (ISI) is committed to equipping surgeons with the world’s most sophisticated robotic-assisted MIS technology and precision tools to advance surgical care for patients.

Since its founding in 1995, ISI’s goal has been to take surgery beyond the limits of the human handTM. In doing so, ISI has pioneered the field of robotic surgery while keeping one mission in mind: to extend the benefits of minimally invasive surgery to the broadest base of patients. From its headquarters in Silicon Valley, ISI has expanded to meet increasing demands for systems and instruments throughout the world. The efforts of our staff are reflected in the company’s remarkable growth, stability and financial performance.

A major distinction of our company is a sustainable business model. We generate revenue from the initial sales of our surgical systems (€ 1.5M – 1.8M each) as well as from instrument and accessory sales and service plans (”da Vinci Ecosystem”). Recurring revenue currently comprises more than half of our total revenue. This creates a stable platform for enduring growth and longevity.
